Poor of the Parish of Saint Church Eastcheap
London, and the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Bennett Gracechurch London
and to every of them.

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Clement Eastcheap
London, That Agnes Ann Codnor< no role > Widow of George Codnor< no role >
deceds and their Child Elizabeth< no role > aged Eleven Years are
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said Agnes Ann Codnor as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and We do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Agnies Ann Codnor and her said
Child
to be in the said Parish of Saint Benneth Gracechurch
and that thitherto they ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in his Majesty's Name to will an re-
quire You the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Clement Eastcheap
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said Agnes Ann
Codnor and her said Child
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
said Bennett Gracechurch
And them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide for them according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this 4th Day of January One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Fifty Nine
