. Maketh Oath
that he this Deponent entered into a Recognizance before the
Worshipful Mr. Alderman Nash on the Nineteenth day of April last
past to prosecute one George Fayrer< no role >
for attempting to pick this
Deponents pocket at the Ensuing Sessions And this Deponent
Saith that he accordingly Caused a bill of Indictment to be prepared
against the said George Fayrer< no role >
for the said offence at the said Sessions
but this Deponent Saith that being greatly hurried in business at
that time he Neglected to attend to prefer Such Indictment by
which mean this Deponent Saith that he is informed his recognizance
in become forfeited And this Deponent Saith that such neglect
did not proceed from any wifful dafault of this Deponent or through
favour to the said George Fayrer< no role >
to Escape Justice but Merely
On account of his being taken up on Account of his Business as aforesaid, And Most humbly
hopes that this Honourable Court will be pleased to discharge his
said Recognizance
