The Humble Petition & Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Chigwell in the
County of Essex .

Sheweth

That by an Order or pass Warrant under the hands & Seals of
your Lordship and the Rt Worshipful Robt. Alsop< no role > Esqr One of the Aldn . of this
honble City dated the 15th. Day of December last Joseph Josiah Dugard< no role >
Elizabeth< no role > his Wife & their two Children James< no role > Aged two years and John< no role > aged nine
Weeks as therein mentioned, were removed from the Precinct of White
Fryers London to your petitioners said Parish as the Place of their
last legal Settlement

That Your Petitioners humbly Concieving themselves
agrieved by the said Order of removal Appeal to this
Honble. Court against the same

And humbly pray such relief in the Premes
as to Your Lordp shall seem meet

And Your Petitioners shall ever
pray Etc.
