Mayor of ye City of London Sr . Willm. Moreton< no role > Recorder
and ye rest of his Majesty's Justices of ye Peace
for ye City of London and Libertys thereof at their
Gent. Session of ye. Peace Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of ye Churchwardens
and Overseers of ye poor of ye parish of St. Mary White
Chapel in ye County of Middlesex City of London and
Liberty of his Majestys Tower of London

Sheweth,


That by a Vagrant Pass or Warrant under
ye hand and Seal of Francis Gosling< no role > Esqr . one of his
Majestys Justices of ye peace in and for ye said City of
Londn. Directed to John Box< no role > Constable in ye City of
London and requiring him to Convey William wilder< no role >
aged 13 years (apprehended as a Rogue & Vagabond
in the Parish of St. Martin Contwich London) to the
said Parish of St. Mary white Chapel as ye place of
his last Legal Settlement

That the said Willm. Wilder< no role > hath been accordingly
Removed in Pursuance of ye sd. Pass or Warrant
to the said Parish of St. Mary White Chapel

That Your Petrs. & Appellts. apprehend yrs chers
Aggrieved by ye sd. Pass or warrant and humbly
Appeal against ye same

Your Petr. and Appellts. therefore humbly
pray this Court to grant them such Relief go to
Your Worships Hall Seem meet and just in and touching
ye premisses And that ye Churchwardens and Overseers
of ye poor of the said Parish of St. Martin may (upon
having Notice for that purpose) attend this Court
to hear and abide the Judgmt. and Determination
of ye Court touching the said Appeal
