Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Botolph Bishopsgate
London and to every of them.

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Botolph Aldgate
London, That John Cox< no role > Elizabeth< no role > his Wife and their
three Children John< no role > aged Seven years Charles< no role > aged
four Years and William< no role > aged five Months are
lately came to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said John Cox< no role > as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and We do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said John Cox< no role > Elizabeth< no role > his Wife
and their said three Children
to be in the said Parish of Saint Botolph Bishopsgate
and that thitherto the said John Cox< no role > Elizabeth< no role > his Wife
and their said three Children ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Botolph Aldgate
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said John Cox< no role >
with Elizabeth< no role > his Wife and their said three Children
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Saint Botolph Bishopsgate
And them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide for them according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this 17th Day of Augst One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Fifty Seven
