To the Right Honourable the Lord Mayor & the rest of his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of London & the Liberties
thereof in their General Quarter Sessions Assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Botolph wihtout
Bishopsgate London .

Sheweth.


That by Virtue of an Order of Removal under the Hands and
Seals of two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of London
and Libertys thereof (One being of the Quorum) bearing Date the
Seventeenth day of August 1757 John Cox< no role > Dorothy< no role > (called in the
said Order Elizabeth< no role > ) his Wife and their three Children John< no role > aged
Seven Years Charles< no role > aged four Years and William< no role > aged five Months
were removed from the parish of Saint Botolph Aldgate London to the
Parish of Saint Botolph Bishopsgate London aforesaid adjudging the
last legal Settlement of the said John Cox< no role > Elizabeth< no role > his Wife and
their said three Children to be there And Your Petitioners conceiving
themselves agrieved by the said Order and Judgment of the said two
Justices Do humbly appeal therefrom and pray such Relief in the
Premisses as to Your Lordship and Worships shall seem meet and
Convenient.
