a Prisoner.
Sheweth
That on the Fourth Day of November Last
Your Petitioner was Committed Prisoner to the Poultry Compter
London on a Strong Suspicion of Feloniously Stealing Twenty
Pounds Weight of Sugar the Property of the Commissioners of Prizes
and on the Eighth Day of the same Month of November last
a Detainer was Lodged in the said Prison of Poultry Compter
against your Petitioner with having Feloniously Stolen out
of a Lighter on the River Thames
a Parcell of Sugar the Value
of Five Shillings the Property of the Commissioner of Prizes
and now is a Prisoner Confined in Newgate
under the same Charges
Your Petitioner therefore most Humbly
Prays That at this Present Session of Goal
Delivery of Newgate Holden for the City of
London and County of Middlesex
, He may be
Tryed Bailed or Discharged Pursuant to the
Statute in that Case made and Provided.
And Your Petitioner shall pray Etc
