Painter maketh oath that on Monday the 2d.
day of August inst. between 11 & 12 o'Clock at night
Dept. saw a Coach stop at or near Cross Key Court
from whence he saw a Woman taken out
quite help less a man having first come out
of the Coach: that the Woman was taken out
of the Coach Head foremost, the man having
hold of her Shoulders & the Coachman of her
Feet, and the said Woman was carried to the
House of Jane Rice< no role > where fused the Woman
Admittanre,sayingupon which the man
told her if she would admitt the woman into
the House he would give her five Guineas
and thereupon the sd. Price permited the sd
Woman to be brought in, but on the man's
offering to go away the said Price insisted
on his staying otherwise she wod. not receive
her. That Dept. saw the man undressed himself and in
Bed before the Woman was undressed and Dept.
went away before the Woman was undressed.

And Deponent further Says that having seen
James Clowes< no role > of Bridgewater Square London
Victualler dohepositively declares him tois
the same person who come in the Coach with
the deced toherthe House of the said Jane Rice< no role >
and whowith the said Womanwent to Bed there
as above mentioned.
