At the General Quarter Session of the Peace holden for
the City of London at the Guildhall within the said City
on Monday the fourteenth Day of October in the twenty
fifth Year of the reign of King George the Second.

Whereas the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint Clement Danes in the County of Middlesex have exhibited their humble
Petition & Appeal to this Court setting forth that by vertue of a Pass
under, the Hand & Seal of the Right honourable Francis Cokayne< no role > Esqr . Lord Mayor of the City of London
dated the eleventh Day of July last Jane Watts< no role > Singlewoman , was passed
as a Vagrant from the said City of London to the Parish aforesd. as the
Place of her last legal Settlement whereby the Petrs. conceived them-
selves aggrieved Whereupon at the request of the said Petitioners It is
Ordered that the Benefit of their said Appeal be saved unto them and
that the hearing and determining thereof be and the same is hereby
Adjourned unto the next General Quarter Session of the Peace to be held
for this City at the Guildhall abovesaid on [..] Tuesday the fourteenth
Day of January now next ensuing.
