The humble Petition and appeal of the Church
wardens and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of
St Clement Danes in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by a Pass under the hand & Seal of the
Right Honble Fras. Cokayne< no role > Esqr . Lord Mayor of the City of London
dated the 11th. Day of July last Jane Watts< no role > Singlewoman
was passed as a Vagrant from the said City of London
to the Parish of St Clement Danes in the County of Middlesex
as the place of her last legal Settlement whereby your
Petitioners conceive themselves agrieved and agt. the said
Pass do appeal

Your Petitioners therefore humbly pray
that the Benefit of the sd. Appeal and
be Saved unto them & that the hearing & Determination
thereof may be adjd. to the next Genl Qur. Session of the peace to be held
for this City & Libertys}And your Petrs. shall pray Etc
