WHEREAS Thomas Mellrose< no role > was
apprehended in the Parish of Saint Catherine Creechurch London
as a Rogue and Vagabond by the said George Wardley< no role >
and upon Examination of the said Thomas Mellrose< no role >
taken before me upon Oath, (which Examination is hereunto
annexed) it doth appear, that the last legal Settlement of the said
Thomas Mellrose< no role > is in the Parish of Sunderland
by Sea in the County of Durham

These are therefore to require You the said George Wardley< no role >
to convey the said Thomas Mellrose< no role >
to the Liberty of Norton Fallgate
that being the first Liberty in the next Precinct, thro' which
he ought to pass, in the direct way to the said Liberty
of Sunderland by Sea to which he is to be sent, and
to deliver him to the Constable or other Officer, of such first
Liberty in such next Precinct, together with this Pass and Dupli-
cate of the Examination of the said Thomas Mellrose< no role >
taking his Receipt for the same. And the said Thomas Mellrose< no role >
to be thence conveyed
on in like Manner to the said parish of Sunderland by Sea
there to be delivered to some Church-warden, Chapel-warden, or
Overseer of the Poor , there to be provided for according to Law.
And You the said Church-warden, Chapel-wardens, and Overseers of
the Poor, are hereby required to receive the said Thomas Mellrose< no role >
and provide for him
as aforesaid. Given under my Hand and Seal this
