The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the parish of St. Mary
Matfellon otherwise Whitechapel in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth.

That by an Order or Pass Warrant under the Hands and
Seals of the said Lord Mayor and Sir Robert Ladbroke< no role > Knight two
of His Majestys Justices of the peace of the City of London aforesaid
(One being of the Quorum) bearing date the Sixth day of December
Last, William Waters< no role > Mary< no role > his Wife and their Child Jane< no role > aged
Eleven Years were Removed from the Parish of Alhallows
Barking London to the said parish of Saint Mary Matfellon otherwise
White Chapel as the place of their last Legal Settlement

That Your Petitioners conceiving themselves
agrieved by the said Order or Warrant of the
said two Justices of the peace humbly Appeal
to this Court against the Same and pray such
Relief in the premises as your Worshps shall
seem meet
