THE Examination of Mary Wright< no role > committed
to the London workhouse as a
Rogue and Vagabond apprehended by John Bond< no role >
Constable for begging
in the parish of Allhallows
London wall in the said City, and brought
before me one of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the said City. Taken this 24th.
Day of September 175 1 .

Who on her Oath saith, that She is about sixty Five years
of age and is the widow of James Wright< no role >
Shoemaker deceased whose Settlement She knows
not, That she is the Daughter of Joseph West< no role >
a Shoemaker deceased, who Served his Apprentiship
to a Shoemaker in that part of the parish of
Saint Botolph without Aldgate which lyes in
the County of Middlesex As she hath been
informed by her Said Father and verily believes
And hath not since obtained any other subsequent Settlement to
this Examinant's Knowledge or Belief.
