THE Examination of Thomas Jones< no role >
committed to the London workhouse
as a
Rogue and Vagabond apprehended by
Samuel Wiseham< no role > Constable begging
in the parish of St: Botolph
without Aldgate in the said City, and brought
before me one of His Majesty's Justices of
the Peace for the said City. Taken this 13th.
Day of November 175 1 .

Who on his Oath saith, that he is about forty years of
age And about Eight Years ago being then a
Singlewoman was a yearly hired Servant to Thomas
Lee
< no role > a Farmer in the parish of Roxeter in the County
of Salop and lived with him upwards of
Eight years at three pounds and upwards
Year Wages

And hath not since obtained any subsequent settlement to this
Examinant's Knowledge and Belief.
