WHEREAS Walter Thorn< no role > was
apprehended in the parish of Saint Catharine Coleman street
as a Rogue and Vagabond wandring and begging
and upon Examination of the said Walter Thorn< no role >
taken before me upon Oath, (which Examination is hereunto
annexed) it doth appear, that the last legal Settlement of the said
Walter Thorn is in the said Parish of
Saint Edmunds in Salisbury in the said County of
Wilts

These are therefore to require You the said Constable
to convey the said Walter Thorn< no role >
to the parish of Saint Clement Danes in the
County of Middlesex
that being the first parish in the next Precinct, thro' which
he ought to pass, in the direct way to the said parish
of Saml Edmunds to which he is to be sent, and
to deliver him to the Constable or other Officer, of such first
parish in such next Precinct, together with this Pass and Dupli-
cate of the Examination of the said Walter Thorn< no role >
taking his Receipt for the same. And the said Walter Thorn< no role >
is to be thence conveyed
on in like Manner to the said parish of Saint Edmunds
there to be delivered to some Church-warden, Chapel-warden, or
Overseer of the Poor , there to be provided for according to Law.
And You the said Church-warden, Chapel-wardens, and Overseers of
the Poor, are hereby required to receive the said Walter Thorn< no role >
and provide for him
as aforesaid. Given under my Hand and Seal this 24th
