Mayor Richard Adams< no role > Esqr Recorder and the rest of his
Majesty's Justices of the peace for the City of London
and Liberty's thereof in General quarter Sessions assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Church-
-Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the Parish
of St Matthew Bethnal Green in the County of
Middlesex .

Sheweth


That by A pass Warrant or Order of Removal under the
hands and Seals of the said Lord Mayor and Thomas Rawlingson< no role >
Esqr two of his Majesty's Justices of the peace for the said
City and Libertys (whereof one is of the Quorum) bearing
date the Second day of February 1750 Elizabeth Ashton< no role >
widow of James Ashton< no role > deceased and their four Children
Jane< no role > aged Seventeen Years Ann< no role > Aged nine years Susanna< no role >
aged Six years and George William< no role > aged four years were removed from
the parish of St. Botolph Bishopsgate London to the sd. parish
of Saint Matthew as the place of their last legal Settlement

That your Petr. and Appellts. apprehending themselves agrieved
by the sd. Order of the said two Justices do appeal to this Court against
the same

Your Petrs. and Appellts. therefore pray that this Court will
appoint a Day this present Session for the Church Wardens
and Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of Botolph
Bishopsgate and all persons concerned to attend this Court
to hear and abide the Judgment and determinacon of the same
touching this Appeal And that your Petrs. and Appellts. may
be relieved as this Court shall see meet.
