Mayor of the City of London and the rest of his Majesties
Justices of the peace for the City of London in their General
Quarter Sessions Assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Overseers of the
Poor of the Precinct of Saint Catherine in the County of
Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the
hands and Seals of Frances Cokayne< no role > Esquire Mayor and Thomas Rawlinson< no role >
Esquire two of his Majesties Justices of the Peace for the City of London
(whereof one is of the Quorum) bearing date the Twenty Sixth day of
January last past Mary Lee< no role > Wife of Samuel Lee< no role > and Mary< no role > their
Child aged two year were removed from the Parish of Saint Giles
without Cripplegate London unto the said Precinct of Saint Catherine
in the County aforesaid as the place of their last legal Settlement

Your Petitioners therefore considering
themselves Aggrieved by the said Warrant or Order
of the said two Justices Do Appeal to your Lordship
and this Honourable Court therefrom and humbly
pray that you will be pleased to hear them in the
premisses and Grant them such relief therein as to
your Lordship and this Honourable Court shall
seem meet

And your Petitioners shall pray Etc
