Lighter or Vessell then & there being upon the said River of Thames there did then & there with force & Arms
Unlawfully & without any just Cause or Provocation whatsoever push & Thrust by the force & violence
thereof he the said Richard Ridley< no role > did then & there fall from the said Plank or Board into the said
Lighter or Vessell and was under the greatest fear & danger of losing his Life and other Mischiefsupon
and Injuries to him the said Richard Ridley< no role > he the said Thomas Mumford< no role > otherwise Mountford< no role > then &
there did to the great Damage of him the said Richard Ridley< no role > To the Evil Example of all Others in the
like Case offending And against the peace of Our said Sovereign Lord the King his Crown & Dignity And
the said Jurors upon their said Oath further Present That the said Thomas Mumford< no role > otherwise
Mountford upon the said Nineteenth day of November in the said Twentieth Year of his said present
Majesties Reign with force & Arms at London aforesaid at the Parish aforesaid in the Ward aforesaid
at a certain Place there Scituate called Stone [..] Stairs in and upon the said Richard Ridley< no role > in
the Peace of God and of our said Sovereign Lord the King then & there being did make an Assault and
him the said [..] Richard Ridley< no role > did then & there Beat Wound and Ill treat So that his
Life was greatly Despaired of and otherInjurieswrongs to him the said Richard Ridley< no role > then &
there did To the Great Damage of him the said Richard Ridley< no role > and against the peace of our said
Sovereign Lord the King his Crown and Dignity
