Thomas Stone< no role > of the Parish of St. Gregory London Gentleman
Deputy Marshall of the High Court oftheAdmiralty of England &
Robert Catherall< no role > of Islington in the County of Middlesex Carpenter
Severally make Oath And first the said Thomas Stone< no role > saith That
the Defendant Hugh Catherall< no role > on the twenty seventh day of September
last in certain Cause depending in the sd. Court of Admiralty
Between James Wimble Commander of the Private Ship of War
the Revenge and John Westman & others Owners of the Ship
Humility & Goods therein personally appeared before Charles
Pinfeld Doctor of Laws & Surrogate to the Judge of the said Court &
by the name & description of Robert Catherall< no role > of Islington in
the County of Middlesex Carpenter entred into a Recognizance
of Bail in of the Penal sum of One thousand Pounds to pay such
demages as should be adjudged & such Expences as should be taxed
in the said Cause And this Deponent Robert Catherall< no role > Maketh Oath
thatthethere is no other Robert Catherall< no role > in the Parish of
Islington except this Deponent & that he this Deponent did not
[..] enter into the Sd. Recognizance and never
heard of the same till he was served with process out of the
Admiralty Court to answer thereto
