maketh Oath yt. he this Depont. did
this day in ye. forenoon, Serve the sd. Deft. with a true Copy of ye. notices hereunto
annexed by Delivering the same to the Landlady or Mistress of a House
called the Green Banister adjoyning to or very near the Dwelling House
of ye sd. Deft in Virginia Street Wapping
who Receives (as she Declared) to this
Depont. all Letters and Messages for ye. sd. Deft. in his absence and promised to
Deliver ye. Same in an hour to him or his wife was declared yt. she wod. be there
within that time And this Depont. further saith yt. ye. Reason of his delivering ye. said
notice in Manner aforesd. was because he yt Said Deft. had lately Quitted his house
in Virginia street
aforesd. so yt. this Depont. could not get any Intelligence or
Information (as he Endeavoured) where yt. Sd. Deft. was Removed to by reason
of his being in trouble as this Dept. was inform'd & verily beleives to be true
by ye. sd. Landlady or Mistress
