apprehended in the City of London
wandring abroadand
begging as [..] Rogue and Vagabond, and brought
before me one of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the
said City and Liberties thereof; and upon Examination of the
said Hannah Catherall< no role >
taken before me upon Oath, it
doth appear that she is a
Rogue and Vagabond, within the True Intent and Meaning
of the Statute in that Case made and provided, and that the
Place of her last legal Settlement, is at the Parish of Saint
Martin in the Fields
in the County of Middx
These are therefore to require you the said Constable, to
convey the said HannahCatherall< no role >
in the next direct way to the said Parish of Saint Martin
and there to deliver her to some Church-wardens
Chapel-wardens, or Overseers of the Poor of the same Parish
to be there provided for according to Law; and you the said
Church-wardens, Chapel-wardens, and Overseers of the Poor, are
hereby required to receive the said Hannah Catherall< no role >
and provide for her as aforesaid. GIVEN under my
