and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
St. Michael at Queenhith London

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto Us two of
his Majesties Justices of the Peace for this City and the
Liberties thereof one being of the Quorum by the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St. Martin
London That
Phebe Dare< no role > Widow of Edward Dare< no role > deceas'd and
Child Sarah< no role > [..] Ten Martin are

lately come to reside in your said Parish not having obtaind any
Legal Settlement there and are likely to become chargeable
thereto unless timely prevented Which Complaint We judge to
be true and for as much as it appears unto Us by the Oath of
the said Phebe Dare and other Circumstances that the last legal [..]
Settlement of her this Deponent and of her said Child is [..]
Parish of St. Michael at Queenhith London

And no other Subsequent Settlement appearing unto Us We the
Said Justices are of opinion and do Adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Phebe Dare and her Child

to be in said Parish of St. Michael
And that thitherto they ought by Law
to be sent

These are therefore in his Majesties Name to Will and
Require You the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor &
the said Parish of St. Martin Orgars
London forthwith to Remove and convey the said
Phebe Dare< no role > and her Child
from and out of your said Parish unto the said Parish of
St. Michael
And them deliver unto the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor there or one of them Who is and are hereby required
to Receive and Provide for them according to Law Given
under our hands and Seals this 19th day of July
one Thousand Seven hundred and Forty two
