William Barton< no role > of Upminster in the County of Essex Salesman who lives in the
Same parish with the above Named Richard Moseley< no role > maketh Oath that the said Richard
Moseley was taken very Ill of an Ague and Fever on Friday last as this Deponent
was Informed by him on Saturday last when this Deponent Saw him And this
Deponent Says. that he was then And now is So very Ill and Sick as this Deponent
veryly believes that he cannot attend in person this Court tha Sessions of the
Peace for the Tryal of this Cause without putting his Like in great Danger
And this Deponent says that he brought the said Moseley a Goods to
Smithfield Markett this Day and that Mr. Clarke a Salesman there hath the
Said Goods to Sell for the said Moseley who would have Came to Leaden this
Day and have Sold the same himself as he heretofore usually Did had he been
Able or well So to have Done and would have also Attended this Court at the tryal
of this Cause
