Faith & at divers other times between the sd. Twenty Eighth day of Det. in the 12th. Year
aforesd: & the day of the taking of this Inquisition at London aforesd: in the parish
of St. Buttolph Bishopsgate
in the Ward of Bishopsgate
Unlawfully & unjustly had &
kept One false Leaden Weight pretended to be a two pound weight wanting three
quarters of an ounce of its just & due weight according to the Standard of the Kings.
Escheqr. One other false Leaden Weight pretended to be apound weight wanting half
an ounce of its last & due Weight according to the Standard of the Kings Exchequer
And one other false Leaden weight pretended to be a pound weight wanting

And the sd. Anthony Hodgson on the Sd: twenty Eighth day of Decr. [..] in the
12th: year aforesd. & at the sd. other times between the sd. Twenty Eighth day of
Decr. last past & the day of the taking of this Inquisition at London aforesd
in the Parish & Ward aforesd. by the sd. Several false leaden Weights before
mentioned deceiptfully & unlawfully sold & Caused to be sold divers quantities
of& goods & Merchandizes to divers persons to the
sd: Jurors as yet Unknown To the sd: Anthony Hodgson at the respective times when
held had & next the sd: respective false weights abovementioned & sold by the same
inform aforesd. Well knowing the same Weights to be false as aforesd. to the great
deceipt & Damage of the sd. Persons to the Evil Example of all others in the like Case
offending and agt. the Peace of our Lord the King his Crown & Dignity And also
