James Quaill< no role > of Clements Inn in the County of Middlesex Gentleman maketh Oath
that he this Deponent did on the third day of this instant April leave at the House of Andrew
Meyers< no role > the Prosecutor in Rose Alley in Bishopsgate Street with a person there (whom this
Deponent believes and hath been informed is Daughter to the said Andrew Meyers the Prosecutor)
A Notice in Writing Purporting that the Defendant intended to bring on the Tryal of this Indictmt.
at this present Sessions of Oyer and Terminer held for the City of London And this depont.
further Saith That he this deponent did on the Same third day of April leave at the Chambers
of Mr. George Harrison< no role > in the Temple (who is Solicitor for Andrew Meyers the Said
Prosecutor as this dept. hath been informed and beleives) with the Clerk or Servant of the
said George Harrison< no role > a Notice in Writing of the like purport, as the Notice abovemencond.
to be last at the House of the Said Prosecutor Andrew Meyers And this dept. further
Saith That he this dept. did on the Tenth day of this instant April leave at the House
of the said Prosecutor (with a Person who informed this dept. that he was, and whom
this dept. beleives to be Son to the prosecutor) a Notice in Writing purporting that the
deft wod. move this Court as on this Prsent Wednesday the Twelfth day of April
at twelve of the Clock of the same day or so soon after as Councell could be heard
That the tryal of this Indictment might be putt off till the next Ensuing Sessions
for want of a Material witness And this dept. further Saith That he this dept.
did on the Same Tenth day of April leave at the Chambers of the Said George
Harrison with his Clerk or Servant there one other Notice in Writing of the like
Purport as the Said Notice last menconed to be left by this Dept. at the House of the
said Andrew Meyers the prosecutor
