To the Right Honble. the Lord Mayor the
Worshipfull the Recorder of the City of London and the rest
of the Justices of Oyer & Terminer & Gaol Delivery of
Newgate for the Sd. City.

The Humble Petition of James Mould< no role >

Sheweth


That Your Petitioner was on or about the Ninth
day of July last past comitted to prison or Suspition of
being concerned, along with others, not as yet taken in
pensoning of one Edward Stone< no role > , a Custom House Officer .

That Your Petitioner has a Family & is very Poor
having had but very litle, besides the Gaol allowance to
support him, during the long Series of the Time of his Imprisontis

That Your Petitioner has been drove to great
Expenses in Subpenaing a great Number of Witnesses
(most of them being Sea faring men) to be present & give
Evidence this Present Sessions at his Tryal.

Therefore your Petitioner humbly
begs that he may be tryed. bailed or
discharged or otherwise relieved this
present Sessions in such manner as to
you, in your Wisdom shall be thought proper

And Your Petitioner shall ever Pray Etc.
