The Examcon of Nathaniel Tuxworth< no role >
taken on his Oath the 15th July
1736

The sd Examt. on his Oath Saith that last Night
this Examts Wife Informed him that Daniel
Speake had been to Enquire for this Examt. &
afterwards Seeing him at a publick house they
drank some beer together & from thence went
to the naggs head but made not May there but
went into primrose lilley in Sepgate Street where
the sd Daniel Sprake< no role > told this Examt that he
had a very great Secret to Entrust him with
& pulling a Booke out of his Pookett told him
if he would be Sworn to Secrecy & Kiss the
Booke he world Impart it to him & then
said his Master was out of Town & as he this
Examt. was a poor Man & one hundred pounds
would do him no harm & that he ye sd Daniel
Sprake also wanted Moneys himself to pay
away on Tuesday next [..]
[..] and told this Examt. that if he wd
come any Night he would let him into his
Masters House yt he should lye with him till
the people in the House were asleep & then
he world direct him to an Iron Chest one
past of the Lidk thereof was thinner that the
rest & if he did but lift it up he might put in
his hand & take out what Money be pleased
& told this Examt that the Money should remain
in this Examts Custody & he should have his Share
