The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
Martin in the Fields in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by an Order under the Hands and Seals of their
Right Honble. Sir Edward Bellamy< no role > Knight Lord Mayor of the said City and Robert
Alsop< no role > Esquire two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the said City (One being of the Quorum) bearing Date the
Eleventh Day of February last past Mary< no role > the Wife of John
Boswell< no role > was removed and conveyed from the Parish of
Alhallowes Staining in the said City to the said Parish of Saint
Martin in the Fields as the Place of her last legal
Settlement

Your Petitioner thinking themselves
aggrieved by the Judgement of the said
two Justices of the Peace appeal to this
Court against the same and desire to be relieved
therein

And your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc.
