Clerk to the Controuler of the Navy and
of John Baynard< no role > of the Navy Office
London Gents taken th upon Oath the
second Day of September 1735 before
John Mongomery< no role > Esqr . Mayor and
one of his Maties Justices of the Peace
for the said City as follows.

First the said Henry Johnson< no role > saith that on
Sunday in the afternoon being the tenth day of
August last he delivered the following Bank-
Notes to the sd. John Baynard< no role > that is to say One
Note No. 213. for one thousand pounds payable to
him this Informt. dat 7th. of June last One other Note No. 212. for
One thousand pounds payable to also to him this
Informt. dated the 17th. of May 1734 One other
Note No. 212. for fifty pounds payable to Thomas
Fellowes dated the ninth of June last One other
Note No. 213. for fifty pounds payable to the said
Thomas Followes< no role > dat the ninth of June last
And one other Note No. 206. for five hundred
pounds payable toHenry Johnthis Informt.
dated the ninth of Augt. last Which said sevl.
Notes are the Property of this Informant
And this Informt John Baynard< no role > saith that the sd.
Henry Johnson< no role > delivered the sevl. Notes before
menconed to this Informt. on Sunday the tenth of
Augt. last in the Afternoon together with several
other Bank Notes which notes this Informt. put into
a large folio Book in a Draw in the sd. Mr. Johnson's Office which he looked
and this Informant Jno: Baynard saith that the
following Notes were put into the same Book and Draw [..]
at several times where theaboveNotes first above menconed were put by
this Examt. Vizt One Note [..] 40. for £20. payable to
Mr Henry Johnson< no role > Dat 20th. Augt. last One other note
