To the Churchwardens and, Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Saint Dunstans in
the west Londonand the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parishof
the liberty of the Rolls in the County of
Middx

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto us, two of His
Majesties Justices of the peace for this City, and the Liberties
thereof, (Quorum unus) by you the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Dunstans in the
West London, that Sarah
Meredith
< no role > widdow of John Meredith< no role > decease'd
is
lately come to reside in your said Parish not having obtain'd any
legal Settlement there, and islikely to become chargeable
thereto, unless timely prevented; which Complaint we judge to be
true, an for as much as it appears unto us by the Oath of the
said Sarah Meredith that till about twenty years
ago her said Husband lived in & rented a house in
Chancery lane in the liberty of the Rolls in the County
of Middx by the Space of ten years & paid twenty
pounds a year rent
and no other subsequent Settlement appearing unto us; We the said
Justices are of opinion, and do adjudge the last legal Settlement
of the said Sarah Meredith
to be in the saidParish liberty of the Rolls in the County of
Middx and that thitherto She ought by Law
to be sent

THESE are therefore in his Majesty's Name, to Will and re-
quire You, the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Dunstans in the West
London, forthwith to remove an convey the said [..]
Sarah Meredith
from and out of your said Parish, unto the saidParish Liberty of the
Rolls in the County of middx
and her delvierunto the Churchwardens and to the Overseers of the
Poor, there or one of them, who is, and are hereby required to
Receive and Provide for her according to Law. Given
under our Hands and Seals this 29th Day of November
Anno Domini. 17 32
