The Examinacon and Confession of William
Maynee< no role > taken this 4th. day of January 1730
before Sr. Edward Bellamy< no role > Knt . & Alderman
and one of his Maties Justices of the Peace for
the City of London

Who sayeth that he beleives he hath in his Possession a Bank
Nole for fifty Pounds in the Name of Henry South< no role >
and has reced as part of the said Money forty five
pounds by two Indorsment at the Bank vizt. one
for thirty pounds the other for fifteen Pounds
both which said Indorsments he this Examt. did
wash out in Order to pay away the said Note for
the Originall Sume of fifty Pounds.
