To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St Dionis Backchurch London and also to
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of St Mary Atthill London

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us whose
hands and Seals are hereunto Sett two of his Majty's Justices of
the peace for the City of London (Quorn Unus) by the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
St Mary Atthill London That Sarah Geary< no role > wife of
Robert Geary< no role > with her two children Vizt. Richard < no role > aged about three
years and Sarah < no role > about two years arelately come into the
Said Parish endeavouring to Settle there contrary to Law and
unless timely prevented are likely to become chargeable
thereunto which We do adjudge to be true and forasmuch
as it appeareth unto us the said Justices upon the Oath of
Joseph Hankey< no role > That the said Robert Geary< no role > lived for above the
Space of Twelve months whilst a single person as a Covenant
yearly Servant in the parish of St Mary Atthill London
and no other legal Settlement
elsewhere appearing unto us since We do also adjudge the
said parish of St Mary Atthill to be the place of their last
legal Settlement.

These are therefore in his Majesty's name to will & require
you the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of St Dionis Backchurch forthwith to remove and convey
the said Sarah Geary< no role > with Richard< no role > & Sarah Her< no role > Children
from out of your said parish unto the said parish of St. Mary
Atthill and them deliver unto the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of there Some or one of them who are
hereby required to receive and provide for them according to
Law. Given under our hands and Seals this 12thday of
OctoberAnno Dm 1721
