the Parish of St. Botolph Without aldgate London
and also to the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the poor of the parish of St. Hellens London

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us whose
hands and Seals are hereunto sett two of his Majesties Justices
of the Peace for the City of London (Quorn Unus) by the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the parish of St.
Botolph without Aldgate London That Elizabeth Burkett< no role > wife
of William Burkett< no role > with her three Children (Vizt) William< no role >
aged about Six years, Ann < no role > aged about two years and
Edward < no role > aged about four months is lately come into the said
Parish endeavouring to settled there contrary to Law and
unless timely prevented are likely to become chargeable
thereunto which wee do adjudge to be true And forasmuch
as it appeareth unto us the said Justices upon the Oath of
Ann Burkett< no role > Wido That William Burkett< no role > Father of the
abovenamed William Burkett< no role > husband of the said Elizabeth
rented and dwelt in a house of St Hellens London and no other
legal Settlement elsewhere appearing unto us since Wee
de also adjudge the said parish of St Hellens to be the
place of their last legal Settlement

These are therefore in his Maties name to
will and require you the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the said Parish of St Botolph without Aldgate
forthwith to remove and convey the said Elizabeth Burkett< no role >
with William, Ann and Edward her three children from out
of your said Parish unto the said Parish of St Hellen and
them deliver unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the poor there some or one of them who are hereby required
to receive and provide for them according to Law Given
under our hands and Seals this 16th: Day of June
Anno Dm 1720
