Parish of St. Ethelburga London and also to
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the parish
of St Clement Eastcheap London

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us whose
hands and Seals are hereunto sett two of his Majties Justices of
the peace for the City of London (Quor Unus) by the
Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St
Ethelburga LondonThat Ann Seddon< no role > wife of
Charles Seddon< no role > with two Children Vizt Margarett < no role > aged about nine years
and Ann < no role > aged about Seven years arelately come into the
Said Parish endeavouring to Settle there contrary to Law and
unless timely prevented are likely to become chargeable
thereunto which We do adjudge to be true and forasmuch
as it appeareth unto us the said Justices upon the Oath of the
said Ann Seddon< no role > That John Seddon< no role > Father of the said Charles Seddon< no role >
her husband rented and dwelt in a house of upwards of Ten pounds
P Ann rent in his Parish of St Clement Eastcheap London where [..]
also was boneand no other legal Settlement
elsewhere appearing unto us since We. do also adjudge the
said parish of St Clement Eastcheap to be the place of their last
legal Settlement

These are therefore in his Majesty's name to will & require
you the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said
Parish of St Ethelburga forthwith to remove and convey
the said Ann Seddon< no role > with Margarett and Ann her two Children
from out of your said Parish unto the said Parish of St. Clement
Eastcheap and there deliverer unto the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor there some or one of them who are
hereby required to receive and provide for them according to
Law. Given under on hands and Seals this First day of
September Anno Dm 1720
