to the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the
parish of St. Michael Wood Street London

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us whose hands
and Seals are hereunto Set two of his Maties Justices of the
peace for the City of London (Quor Unus) by the Church-
wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St.
Bartholomew the great London That Dorothy Beele< no role > with
Patrick< no role > her son aged about twelve months are come into
the said Parish endeavouring to Settle there contrary to Law
and unless timelly prevented are likely to become chargeable
thereunto which wee do adjudge to be true And forasmuch
as it appeareth unto us the said Justices upon the Oath of
Richard Johnson< no role > That Patrick Beele< no role > husband of the said
Dorothy Beele< no role > served the two last years of his Apprenticeship
with one Mr Stevens a Glover in the parish of St. Michael
Wood Street London And no other legal Settlement elsewhere
appearing unto us Since Wee do also adjudge the said parish
to be the place of their last legal Settlement

These are therefore in his Maties Name to Will &
require You the Churchwardens Overseers of the poor of the
said Parish of St. Bartholomew the great London forthwith to
remove and convey the said Dorothy Beele< no role > with Patrick< no role > her
Son from out of your said Parish unto the said parish of St.
Michael Wood Street London And them deliver unto the Church-
wardens and Overseers of the poor there Some or one of them
who are hereby required to receive and Provide for them
According to Law Given under one hands and Seals this 15th
Day of January Anno Dni 1718
