Wm Reynolds< no role > the 6th of the Instant July abt 6 in the morning goeing by the fleet prison Saw one Matthew Vickers< no role > a priosner [..] breake down the
window Shutter of the begging roome & carry the same into the prison Yard & by the Noise he heard of Stamping on boards believes he
broke the Same to pieces, that belveing the sd Vickers & others were endeavouring to escape, he acquainted the Turnkey therewith
that the sd Vickers & others have ever Since continued very outragious, drinking & Swearing, to the disturbance of the neighbourhood

Wm Pinder< no role > one of the Turnkeys saith that the sd 6th of July goeing to his duty as Turnkey abt 6 in the Morning Saw Math: Vickers< no role > breaking the
window Shutters of the begging roome cursing & Swearing & with a Staft break the inner door into pieces soe that the prisoners
have recourse into the begging roome at their Pleasure & recieve the Charity money which pperly belongs to the poor of the
Comon side, That the 7th of this instant workemen comeing to hang on the begging roome Door One Ben: Bravo< no role > & Richd Warters< no role >
opposed the Carpenters & forced the Door from them, That Warters assaulted one of the Carpenters endeavouring to force the
hammer out of his hands, That the sd Bravo & Warters getting a piece of timber out of a Wall broke the Door into pieces
being assieted by the sd Vickers & one Paine they all declareing they would never Suffer any door to be fixed there to Whilst
they were there That the sd Bravo Vickers & Sevll other Prisoners have ever Since continued in a very riotons manner
curseing the Warden & his Officers, that the sd door being broke down as aforesd there is great danger of the Prisoners
excapeing

John Head< no role > Saith That on the 6th of this Instant July he Saw Math: Vickers< no role > pull down & break the Inner door of the begging roome
& on Richd Warters carry the pieces into his roome That he also Saw the sd Vickers pull down the outer door of the sd begging
roome, That the sd Vickers One Bravo & Warters with other Prisoners have ever Since behaved themselves in an
outragious manner curseing & Damming & threatning the Warden & Mr. Fitch

Walter Barking One of the Turnkeys Saith that on the 7th of this Instant July the Carpenters goeing to putt up the begging roome doore
one Math Vickers< no role > had pulled down, he Saw One Richd Warter< no role > & Ben: Bravo< no role > obsturct the Carpenters in putting up the Same
cursing & Swearing they would never Suffer any door to be putt up their & at the same time break the sd door into pieces, That
the sd Warters Vickers Bravo & other Prisoners have ever Since continued in a very outragious manner curseing & swearing That by
reason of the sd Doors being broke the prisoners are in great danger of escapeing

John Chilton< no role > ,Carpenter Saith that the 7th of this Instant July he & one Jonathan Wilkins< no role > being ordered to hang up the begging roome door in the Fleet
Prison One Ben: Bravo< no role > & Richd Warters< no role > opposed them curseing & Swearing that they would never Sufter any door to be
hung up there & threatned to Bull this Depont in case he would not surrender his hammer [..] Sturch his in the case in a [..] That the sd Bravo & Warters
& Sevtt other prisoners gott a piece of Timber out of a Wall & broke the sd door into pieces, That he was oblidged to
gett out of the Prison with all expedition fearing he should be killed or pumped at the Leash

Cha: Fitch< no role > Saith yt ye sd 7th July ye sd. Vickers Sent for him & Wth many Curses ye told him yt if became
into ye Fleet he wd. be the Death of him or to ye Effect as also ye Wards himself if he comes in & ye sd
Vickers (in company wth. diverse other of ye prisonrs) wth a Watch Staff in his hand put it agt ye Barrs St
ye sd Begging Room [..] swearing he wd break them down & make way for them all fort
sd Fatch was fort to sett ye Citty Watch al ye sd Grate wth out Side wch are there continued &
that ye sd. Vickers Bravo & ye rest have ever Since behaved ym Selferes in a very Riotens
manner & her under Dreadfull Apprehencons of ye escapeing together wth other pisonr
