The humble Petition and Appeal of Church wardens
and Overseers of the poor of the parish of St Nicholas

Sheweth

That by Vertue of a Warrant under the
hand and Seals of two of his Matys Justices of the peace
(Quox unus) bearing Date ye Twenty first day of March
last past One Henry Maverly< no role > Mary< no role > his wife and thre
Children (Vizt) John< no role > about Eight Mary< no role > about three Years
and George< no role > about Nine Months old Were Sent & deliverd
by the Church Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the
parish of Sd Gregory by St Pauls unto to the Church Wardens
and Overseers of the poor of the Sd parish of St Nicholas
Colabby Alleading the Sd pish to be the place of their last
Legall Settlement.

That Your Petitioners therefore Conceive
themselves agriev'd by the Sd Warrt and
Judgment of the Sd two Justices and do most
humbly appeal to your Worps therefrom

Your Petitioners most humbly
Pray your honour and Worps will be
pleasd to hear them in the premisses
and Order that the Church Wardens
send Overseers of the poor of ye Sd. pish of
St Gregory by St Pauls may Appear
before you & hear & abide the Determinacon
of yr honour & Worrps touching this Appeal
