Complaint being day made unto Us two of his Majesties Justices of the
Peace for this City any libertyes thereof (quor unus) by you the Church
Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish of Ethelburga in London
that one Elizabeth Luck< no role > wife of William Luck< no role > with Frances< no role > her
Daughter aged about two yeares and an halfe is now residing within
your said parish having no legall settlement therein and is likely to
be come chargeable thereto unless timely removed And for as much as
it appeareth unto Us the said Justices that the said Complaint is true And
it likewise appearing unto Us by Examining Jeremy Heather< no role > Clerk
of the said parish of St Ethelburga upon Oath this day taken before Us
That about Fifteene or Sixteene yeare since the said William Luck< no role >
was bound Apprentice to one Thomas Rideout< no role > a Shoemaker then
living in the parish of St Helen near Bishopsgate in London with
Whom he served seven yeares And no Subsequent settlement to As
appearing We do therefore adjudge the said parish of St Helen near
Bishopsgate London to be the place of the last legall settlement of
the said William Luck< no role > and Whither his said wife Elizabeth
Luck
< no role > and Frances< no role > her Daughter by law ought to be removed

These are therefore in his Majesties name require you the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish of St
Ethelburga in London Forthwith upon sight hereof to convey and
pals away from and out of your said parish the bodys of the said
Elizabeth Luck< no role > and Frances< no role > her said Daughter and them
deliver to the Church Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the
parish of St Helen near Bishopsgate in London who are hereby
required to receive and provide for them according to Law
Hereof faile not Given under our hands and seales the 14th day
of December 1715

To the Church Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the Severall
parishes of St Ethelburga and St Helen near Bishopsgate
London respectively}
