Whereas it appeareth unto us whose hands & Seals
are hereunto set two of his Majesties Justices of the Peace
for the City of London (Quoru Unus) Upon the Complaint of
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the parish
of St Andrew Holborn London That Thomasine Amos< no role > wife
of Benjamin Amos< no role > is lately come into the said parish
endeavouring to Settle there contrary to Law, and is already
become chargeable thereunto and is likely so to continue
unless timely prevented And forasmuch as it appeareth
unto us the said Justices Upon the Oath of the said Thomasine
Amos
< no role > That her said husband Benjamin Amos< no role > served
three years Apprentice Ship with one Mr Boyden a Hat
maker near puddle dock in the parish of St Andrew
Wardrobe London And no other legal Settlement elsewhere
appearing unto us since We do therefore adjudge the said
parish of St Andrew Wardrobe to be the place of the last
legal Settlement of the said Thomasine Amos< no role >

Tho Abney< no role >


These are therefore in his Majesties name
to will and require you the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the poor of the said parish of St Andrew Holborn
London forthwith to remove and convey the said Thomasine
Amos
< no role > from out of your said parish unto the said parish
of St Andrew Wardrobe London and her leave with the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor there some or
one of them who are hereby required to receive and provide
for her until they can free themselves from the charge
thereof by due course of Law Given under our hands
and Seals this 29th. Day of November Anno Dui 1715

To the Church wardens & Overseers of the Poor of the
parish of St Andrew Holborn London, and also to
the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of the
parish of St Andrew Wardrobe London.
