St. Botolph without aldersgate in the City of London aforesd
to S [..] ye. 20th day of Novem [..] One Din 1711 before Sr. Thomas

This Examinant Saith & deposeth an hers Corporall
Oath that about Six weeks ago Katharine Court< no role >
came that his Examinant Lodgings & desired her to acknowledge
that known child being a female was the Child [..] together
by one Jacob Eargus< no role > Merchant on the body of her
the said Katharine Court and that this Examinant
was only Nurse unto ye. said female child proposeing in
This Examinant by that prtence that this Examinant
& the sd Katharine Court might get a sume
of money of the Sd Jacob Edigus< no role > under Prtence
of takeing care of the said female Child and the said
Katharine Court further told this Examinant that
the child she had charged run Eaigus with at the [..]
further There of was a female & still bone
And this Examinant being under great me wishlys Considered
of the above mentioned proposall & thereupon applyed her
sd of unto one Joseph Walker< no role > Pawn broker in Aldergate
street & Acquainted him fully therewith who told this Examint
that her did not know but street a thing might doe well
enough and Soon after the said Joseph Walker< no role >
Sent one Mrs. Whitton to this Examinant
in order to Carrys on the said designe & was wth. her Severall
times; And she sd Mrs. Whitten carried a letter from
the said Katharine Court unto the sd. Jacob Eargus.
and the said Mr. Whitten told this Examinant That
when she had delivered the said letter to Mr. Edigus
her came with her to one Mrs. Smith & shewing him
the letter left the whole matter to the Sd. Mr
Smith management in and further made oath that she
this Examinant with Mrs. Whitten & Court at the
[..] Joseph Walters< no role > to Consull about ye. Said affair
it was then left wth. Mrs. Whitton & Joseph Walter< no role >
to get what money they Could of the said Mr. Eargus
