Whereas complaint hath been this day made unto us two of
Her Maties. Justices of the peace
for this Citie and the Libties
thereof (Quor unus) by you the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poore of the Parish of St. Anthony vulgarly Antholin
London That one Anne Brockist< no role >
Widow
is lately come into
your said Parish having noe legall settlement therein and
is likely to become chargeable thereto unless timely prvented
And forasmuch as it appeares unto us by the oath of the
said Anne Brockist That her late husband Henry Brockist< no role >
was
an Housekeeper at the time of his death in the parish of St.
Bartholomew the Less
London at the rent of sixteen pounds
P annandbeing about one yeare and five months since and
that she has not since obteined any legall settlement Wee
are therefore of opinion That the last legall settlement
of the said Anne Brockist is in the said Parish of St.
Barthew the less
London These are therefore Her
Maties. name to require you forthwith to remove & convey
the said Anne Brockist< no role >
from and out of your said Parish
of St. Anthy vulgarly Antholin
London to the said Parish
of St. Barthew the less
London and her leave with the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poore there or
one of them who are hereby required to receive and pvide
for her according to Law Hereof faile not And this shall
be your Warrt. Given undr. our hands and seales the 25th.
day of June 1797
