The Peticon & Appeale of the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the Poore of the Parish of St. Benedict Fincke London

Sheweth

That one Margarett Brittaine< no role > Widdow of Ralph Brittaine< no role > Decd by virtue
of a Warrt. Dated 28th. May 1707 under the hands and Seales of twoe of
Her Maties. Justices of the peace within the City of London (one being of
the Quox) was brought by the Churchwardens of the Parish of Alhallowes
on the Wall to yor. Petrs. to be provided for on the Oath of one Rachell
White< no role > als Brittaine< no role > That the said Ralph Brittaine< no role > Served his Appnticeship
in the said Parish of St Benedict with one John Brittaine< no role > Decd Whereas
in Truth the said Ralph Brittaine was made a Freeman in 1675. And since
dwelt with his wife in the Parish of Alhallowes on the wall as a Lodger
for the Space of about twoe Yeares before May 1685. And hath had
we Residence since in yor Petrs. said Parish of St Benedict

Yor. Petrs humbly pray That their Appeale may be heard
And that the said Margarett Brittaine< no role > may be sent
back to the said Parish of Alhallowes on the wall being
the place of Her last legall Settlement To be provided
for by them according to the Lawe

And They shall Pray Etc
