The humble Petition and Appeale of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poore of the Parish of Alhallowes
Lombard Streete London

Sheweth


That by virtue of a Warrant under the hands and Seales of twoe
of Her Maties. Justices of the Peace within the City of London one
being of the Quox Dated the 25th. day of September Anno Dni 1706
One Richard Struguall< no role > with his wife and Five Children were brought
to yor. Petrs. by the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poore of the
Parish of St. Buttolph Bishoppsgate London To be provided for upon
the Oath of the Said Richard Struguall That his last legall Settlement
was in yor. Petrs. Parish where hee Lived about 14. Yeares Since (being
they unmarried as a hired Servt . with Mr. John Cullum< no role > Woollen
Draper att 20s. P Annm Mayes Whereas in truth the Said Richard
Struguall
< no role > never lived a whole Yeare with the Said Mr. Cullum his
Master as the Law in that Case provides

Yor. Petrs. humbly Pray yor. Honor. & Worpps. to hear
them in the prmisses And Quash the Said Warrant
made by the Said twoe Justices And Sent the Said
Richard Struguall< no role > with his wife and Five Children
back to the Parish of St. Buttolph Bishoppsgate To be
by them provided for and mainteyned untill They
can Free themselves of the Charge thereof by due Course
of Law
