Whereas Compll hath beene made unto as
Two of her Maties Justices of the Peace for the Said Citty
(Quor unus) by the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poore of the Parish of St. James Dukes place London
That Margery Radland< no role > late wife of Hugh Radland< no role >
deced is lately come into theire Parish endeavouring to
settle there without giveing notice in writeing to the Said
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poore or any of them
according to Law or haveing gained any legall Settlement
there and is likely to become chargeable to theire Said
Parish And Whereas it appeares unto us upon
the Oath of the Said Margery Radland that the last legall
Settlemt. of the Said Hugh Radland< no role > was in the Parish
of St. John Waping in the County of Middx where he
lodged att the house of one Mr. Murray in Cock Alley
in the Said Parish the Fifteenth day of November
One Thousand Six hundred Eighty five (being the day
that they were Married) and for above two Months after
att which time the Said Hugh Radland< no role > went to Sea in his
then Maties Service and continued there neare five yeares
before he returned and that he died about Six yeares
Since and that her Said husband in his lifetime nor She
Since his death have obteined any other legall Settlemt
Wherefore we doe adjudge the Said Margery Radland to
be last legally Settled in the said Parish of St. John
Wapping in the Said County of Middx.

These are therefore in her Maties name Strictly to charge and
comand you the Said Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poore
of the Parish of St. James Dukes place Some or one of you upon Sight
hereof To remove and convey the body of the Said Margery
Radland
< no role > out of your Said Parish unto the Said Parish of St.
John Wappin and her deliver unto the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poore there or to Some or one of them whoe are
hereby required her to receive and provide for (as occasion Shall
require) untill they Shall be of her discharged by due Course of Law
and for Soe doeing this Shall be your Warrt. Given undr. our hands
and Seales this 10th. day of October Anno Dni 1706 .

To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poore of the
Parish of St. John Wapping in the County of Middlx and
all others whome this may concerne.
