gate London Carpenter taken upon Oath this
29th Day of August Ao Dui 1706

This Informant Deposeth, That on the five and
twentieth day of July last past, as he was travelling
from New Markett to London , he was assaulted
on the High way in Epping Forrest by two Psons,
who feloniously tooke from him five Guineas
in Gold, thirteene Shillings in Silver Money, a
Drabdeberry Coate, and a Mourninge sword, And
this Depont: further maketh Oath, that one of the
Psons who comitted the Robery aforesaid, is a little
blackman, and weares a black Perrywigg, and
whose name is David Davis< no role > .
