Whereas Complaint hath beene made unto us whose hands and
Seales are hereunto Sett two of his Majesties Justices of the Peace
of the Citty of London (Quorum Unus) by the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poore of the Parish of St. Bottolph Aldersgate
that Ann Paine< no role > Widdow of Wm. Paine< no role > deceased and here Foure Children are
lately come into the said Parish endeavouring gaine a
Settlement there without giveing Notice in Writeing the place
of her Abode or Number of her fairly to the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poore of the same Parish as Law is
repaired and are likely to become chargeable to the said
Parish And for Asmuch as Oath is made before as by Bevis
Paine< no role > and Ann Paine< no role > the Widdow of William Paine< no role > lately
deceased that the said William Paine< no role > livd in Angell [..]
Street in the Parish of Christchurch in a Roome provided for
him by Order of the Churchwarden of the said parish where he dwell about
Six months and that the said Ann Paine< no role > had by him four Children now
liveing (to say) James< no role > Ann< no role > Mary< no role > & William Paine< no role >
This are therefore in his Majesties Name to will and require
[..] on the Offices of the said Parish of St. Bottolph Aldersgate
Some or One of yon, to take passe and convey away the said
Ann Paine< no role > and her said four Children
to the Parish of Christchurch said
and there deliver Them to the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the Poore of the same Parish or to Some of One of Them who
are hereby likewise in his Majesties Name required to received
provide for them according to Law and hereby you nor any of
you are to faile given under our hands and Seales this
