seaman taken the 19th: day of December
Anno Dim 1696

Who being Examined by & asked by me whether he did
on the 11th instant attempt breake the shopwindowes of John
Shawe< no role > of St Andrews Holbourne London Clock maker &
Steale thence Two silver Watches [..] as Charged by
the said John Shawe< no role > & others The said Examint: sayth
yt he being the sd Day att might much in Drinke & passing
by the sd Shawe house by Chance his foote shipt & he
fell agt; his Shop windowes which broke [..]
[..] & thereupon fell intoshehis these Examts.
hand one of the sd watches wherewith he is Charged
to have stohre as aforesaid butt sayth he did nott
intend to lake itt Butt as for the other watch the
sd Examt: sayth he saw itt nott nor meddles therewith
And Father she sayth nott
