St: Andrewes Holbourne London Clockmaker
Taken on oath the 19th day of December
Anno Dni 1696

Who sayth upon oath yt the Last night he was a [..] night being 11 instant abt: 8 o Clocke his
Shopwindow was broken & from thence was Stohne Two Silver
watches there hanging uppon a Wyar being of the value
of three pounds & upwards which said watches This Informant:
sayth That Christopher Dodsworth< no role > the prisner here did this
day declare & Confesse in his hearing yt he the said
Dodsworth did Steale the same as aforesaid And further
eh sayth nott

att Mr: James Stary< no role > house by the watch house in
Ratcliffe highway in the County of middx widdow
taken on oath the day & yeare abovesd

Who sayth upon oath yt on 17th instant att night The Christopher Dodsworth< no role >
the prisner here having Lan up a Perkoning att the sd Mr: Starys house
for Drunke (he being a victualler ) & [..] he nott having money at
he sayd to pay the same We prefered a Silver Larum Watch goeing
with a Chayne & Silver studded as a pledge for the same to weary wife of
the sd Stary which she refused to doe att first Butt att last upon Intrealy
She tooke itt & delivered the same by the sd Dodsworth Consent & order
to this Informt: to Indeavour to sell the same which this Informt: recd:
accordingly & prefered itt to falle to severall & among others accidentally
at [..] the abovesd Informt: John Shaws shop whose Servt: Stoppt this Informt:
thereupon & shall enged the 12 watchs to be stolme from his Mrs & forth sayth nott
