The humble Peticon of the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the Poore of the Parish of St. Sepulchers London

Sheweth

That yor. Petrs. are very much Overburthened with Poore being scituate
in the Suburbs of this City And not being able to raise sufficient sumes of
money amongst themselves to releive them Notwithstanding their
Assessemt. is greater then heretofore Yett the charge of their Poore is
forr above their said Assessemt. As the same upon full examinacon hath
many times Appeared to divers Aldermen of this City Appointed to heare
the same And their Poore dailey increaseing upon them.

Their humble suites therefore unto yor. good Honors. &
Worpps. is That you will be favourably pleased to grant
unto them the Contribucon of £50. from severall Parishes
wth. in this City for & towardes these liveing their Poore as
hath been formerly givene them Or such further allowance
As to yor. Honors. & Worpps. shall seeme meete.
