me this 9th. day of March 1789
Who being upon Oath say, and first the said Duncan Grant< no role >
saithsaith that at the time when
he apprehended said John Wood< no role >
as mentioned
in the forgoing Information he observed Said
Wood throw away Some thing which he believed
to be a Pistol and left his Stick in the Road
to mark the place - And that he and said
Joseph Vanstuart< no role >
[..] and said John Street< no role >
with said John Wood< no role >
to the Kings Arms
Alehouse in Action bottom
where he this Informt.
remained with the said Wood whilst they
went back to search for [..] what said
Wood had thrown away - And the said
John Street for himself saith that he came
up to said Vanstuart and Grant at the time
they were security said Wood as aforesaid
and that he went with them to the Kings Arms
aforesaid and then went back with said
Vanstuart to assist in searching for what
the said Wood had thrown away and that
he found a Pistol in the field opposite to
where said Grant had left his said Stick,
which Pistol he delivered to said Vanstuart
And the said Joseph Vanstuart< no role >
for himself
saith that he was present when the said Johns
Street found the said Pistol as aforesaid which
